The initial “Chinese textile and apparel trade exhibition (Germany)” opened at Karlsruher Messe- und Kongressgesellschaft on Nov 5, 2006, which would last for 3 days.

This is the first time ever in history for textile and apparel industries as a whole to strike a pose on European stage, and it is also a grand occasion for cooperation and communion in foreign trade between Chinese and European textile and apparel industries.

The exhibition is sponsored by China textile industrial association, and is undertaken by international foreign trade promotion committee, textile branch, China Garment industrial association and Karlsruher Messe Company.

The displaying area is 5000 square meters, and nearly 100 outstanding Chinese textile and apparel firms take part in this fair with their own intellectual right and independent brands.

The products being showcased cover men's and women's garments, sportswear, apparel accessories, other home textile products.

To promote information and cultural exchanges between China and Europe in textile and apparel industries, Chinese organizers also hold special spot seminar and release meetings of Chinese famous textile and apparel brands.

The aim of this exhibition is to spread Chinese garment culture through local models walking on stage and launching annual fashion trend to display the special features.
