Canvas Unlimited is organizing 'The Art and Design Show', which is a combination of couture and canvas for a social cause. Banquets of Kolkata's Hyatt Regency will be seeing a fashion and art event which showcases works of celebrities from both fields.

Fashion giants like Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Rohit Bal, Shantanu Goenka, Anita Dongre, etc. will participate in the event. Reputed designers in fields of apparel, jewellery and accessories will display their creations.

Also participating in the one day spectacle will be jewellery designers like Alka Javeri, Abhishek Haritwal and Falguni Mehta, along with lifestyle and accessory brands like Shawlwart, Bea and Window Passions.

Through the show, Canvas Unlimited is trying to spotlight attempts of Ekal Vidyalaya, a prime Indian organization working to provide education to backward sections of society.

Earnings of the show will be donated to Friends of Tribal Society (FTS) or Vanabandhu Parishad, which is committed to uplifting the lives of 8 crore tribal Indians since 1989.

Sumedha Bansal of Canvas Unlimited said it is a symbol of talent all over India and they want that more people should volunteer to get involved in a serious cause.
