The Ha Dong Silk shop, XQ Embroidery Company, Khaisilk Shop on Hang Gai Street got lucky, when the wives of APEC (Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation) leaders visited their shops. The APEC leaders took this opportunity to learn about craft villages and traditional handicrafts of Vietnam.

The hotel where these delegates stay has arranged a stall for Ha Dong Silk to serve Australian guests from 9am to 5pm from November 11-19.

From November 12-19, XQ also has an embroidered painting exhibition at Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam. The exhibition displays 20 large-sized paintings (1.3 x 1.6m) with the theme friendship, rural landscape and portrait. They are displaying embroidered paintings in three topics: Time, The Fall and Vietnamese space.
