Sioufas discusses scope of jewellery sector at exhibition

Dimitris Sioufas, Development Minister of Greece, opened an exhibition of Greek jewellery at Syntagma Metro Station's auditorium, with Greek Silver and Gold Jewellery Centre being the organizer.
He discussed the possible scope of silver and gold jewellery sector in Greece and in the world.
He stated that the strength of gold and silver jewellery sector and its scope is reflected from the fact that 2,300 companies in the country are associated with the sector, 7,500 companies are trading in jewellery and 40,000 people are directly or indirectly involved with the sector.
He added that jewellery symbolizes the Greek civilization and success of this exhibition will enhance the sector's opportunities for the future.
