Festa Italiana 2006 at Joss in Kala Ghoda is witnessing a plethora of activities with Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry being the organizer. Chamber has completed 40 years in the country.
Coral jewellery is being exhibited at the first floor. Flashy jewellery ornaments and gowns are also showcased in the festival.
Jewellery designer Alka Shah attended the festival. She opined that the necklaces, earrings and bracelets were very beautiful and they would match with local clothing. She was impressed by the application of corals in jewellery making.
National Association of Coral Producers (Assocoral), which was established 28 years back in Torre del Greco, has brought the exhibition to India. Purpose of this association is to inspire designers to make use of coral, cameos and other materials in their jewellery.
