The textile industry is one of the backbones of the Egyptian economy. Egyptian cotton is considered to be amongst the finest cotton in the world. However, a considerable share of it is exported without any value added in the country. Many companies in the Egyptian textile industryalready produce with Egyptian cotton and try to get a competitive advantage in a more and more difficult market.
