Industry Minister meets German Textile Union Chairman Strauss

Fouad Issa al-Jouni, Minister of Industry, met with the German Chairman of Textile Industry Union R. Strauss, yesterday.
Need to strengthen trade relations were emphasized by developing new ventures and improving existing ones, especially in the textile segment during the meeting.
Strauss stressed the importance of enhancing marketing techniques and training workers to equip them with knowledge about the industry and further informed of a specific company that will conduct sessions for garment sector and demonstrate latest German technologies.
To build up German-Syrian relations it is important to set up joint ventures in private and public sectors.
