Arts and Crafts Festival organized by Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in Ayutthaya, the former capital city of Thailand was a great success.
14 models of the Kalawin Fashion House from Thailand performed with a collection of Vietnamese traditional long dresses (ao dai) and traditional brassieres which left the Thai and regional audiences awestruck.
Audiences loved the blend of designs and harmony of colours which valued the tradition and modernity of Vietnam.
Designers had chosen high quality material such as silk and taffeta along with traditional embroidery handicraft from provinces of Ha Tay, Lam Dong and Da Nang.
The idea behind this festival was to respect the beauty of women and the art and culture of Vietnam.
