'Women Expo 2006' recently started in Muscat at the Oman International Exhibition Centre.
The ceremony was inaugurated by the Chairperson of Omani Public Authority for Craft Industries (PACI).
Foreign exhibitors dealing in products and services for women from Saudi Arabia, Syria, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom along with Companies from Brunei Darussalam has taken part in event.
The idea of Women Expo is to reveal contribution of women in social and economic development of Oman.
The services offered at this event are in the field of beauty and health, jewellery and wedding concepts, fashion and lifestyle and many more.
The exhibition also displayed the products like home appliances, cosmetics, leather products, kitchen equipment, garments, jewelleries, and fashion accessories.
