Natural & Organic Products Expo charts success story

Middle East Natural & Organic Products 2006 that was held at Dubai's International Exhibition Centre ended yesterday.

More than 300 exhibitors from 35 countries participated in the show and booking for next year have now taken to 8,000 square meters compared to current year's 5,000 square metres of floor space.

Exhibitors from Finland, Australia, and Mexico displayed products in category of agriculture, beauty and health products, dietary supplements, alternative/herbal medicines and treatments, furniture and gifts, clothing and fabrics etc.

The show was supported by the UAE Ministry of Health and by Government bodies from India including the Trade & Investment Facilitation Corporation of the Government of Madhya Pradesh, and Chemexcil, the National Government's Export Promotion Council for basic chemicals, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.

A growth of about 80 percent is expected for 2007 edition of Middle East Natural & Organic Products Expo as advance bookings are confirmed.
