Michigan residents are experiencing the taste of Himalayas through 'Tibetan and Napalese Handcraft' offered by Ngwang Tam Choe in Hillsdale.
Tam Choe, a sweater and rugmaker from Kathmandu, Nepal, sells clothing, jewelry and Eastern worship items with the help of her local host George Angell and his family.
The Nepalese has maintained her winter Hillsdale sales since 1996 and has established a network of customers, who visit this event repeatedly.
The sale showcases exotic Tibetian and Nepalese crafts such as scarves, bags and rugs and woollen clothes which are very much liked in America.
George Angell owns Nepalese goods like rugs, jewelry, door hangings and the components of a Buddhist shrine.
This handcraft show remains open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will continue till late December at 220 S. Broad Street.
