The 11th INTERTEX MILANO, International Textile Exhibition and 9th READY TO SHOW, International Clothing Sourcing Exhibition, held concurrently with MILANO UNICA concluded on Friday, September 15, 2006 after 3 days' exhibition.
Manufacturers, exporters and agents showed their products : from yarns, clothing fabrics, clothing accessories to finished garments ranging from ladies' wear, men's wear, children's wear, to knitwear in cashmere, casual wear, sportswear, underwear, lingerie, swimwear, leather garments, work clothes, technical wear, a total of 135 collections from over 25 countries and regions.
First time exhibitors: Consortium Text'Ile Mada (Madagascar) with 6 companies of children's wear ( high quality ) and junior wear. Dorobantul (Romania) wool fabrics. Akko Textile & Garment (Thailand) very important manufacturer of fabrics and ladies' wear with office also in China, Holland and the U.K. Hemisphere Sud (Mauritius) with very high quality leather garments and leather accessories, supplier to international brands and a lot of other new entries ( from Switzerland, Slovenia, Egypt.)
Total visitors : 3968 5 percent / February 2006 of whom 2610 Italians -9 percent / February 2006 and 1358 foreigners +4 percent / February 2006.
