Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC) recently hosted the four day 'Style Hong Kong in Dubai 2006' expo, which displayed fashion items, accessories and electronics of Hong Kong. Large number of visitors thronged the exhibition.

Event is organized every year by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). Over 200 companies exhibited various elite lifestyle products with fresh designs, which attracted the attention of traders and shoppers.

Increasing visitors, enhanced sales and business deals resulting from the exhibition secured Dubai's status of being a world market and sourcing center for high quality products, according to council's Middle East Director Jeff Ambjorn.

Hong Kong's firms and brands aiming to foray into fast growing Middle East markets find this event to be a platform for developing their business.

Graceful jewellery pieces, posh furnishing, designer clothing, shoes, home appliances and economical timepieces were on sale.

Hong Kong Jewellery & Watch Partnership Mission, which drew Hong Kong's traders to Dubai's wealthy ornaments and watches market, was an added attraction.
