It was a brightest day for local apparel retailer Petit Monde, when he received the gold for the Best Fashion Retailers of the Year, at the 2nd Annual Philippine Fashion Awards (PFA) held at the Theater Center of Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) in Quezon City on November 25, 2006.
Ever Bilena and Le Froge won silver and bronze awards respectively.
Marcella, the accessories store received the coveted Golden Mannequin Award for Fashion Retail Achievement.
Few other awards were won by Ritratto as men's Apparel of the Year; Best Lifestyle Shop of the Year was won by Scandinavia Trend, and Naomi bagged the best Jewelry Store of the Year and best Window Display of the Year.
PFA council arranges this award function every year. It aims to support the interests of the local fashion industry and to increase the capacity to attain the global standards.
