Almost since its inception 32 years ago, Surf Expo has sold its show t-shirts to attendees and exhibitors alike to promote camaraderie and, shamelessly, to promote our brand. Like enthused fans of a sports team, Surf Expo attendees can be somewhat passionate about our t-shirts and many maintain a collection of shirts going back for years.
"We have the best t-shirt designers in the industry right here at our show,” explained Lori Kisner, Show Director. “So we thought, 'why not create an opportunity for a little friendly competition and provide our attendees a great t-shirt design too?'”
Interested? Here are the details:
What's the prize for the winner? Pride and publicity. The winner's name will be publicized online and at the show. Plus, we'll throw in a t-shirt for free.
Who can enter? Designs can be submitted by an exhibiting company or by an individual within the industry.
What are the design requirements? The January show t-shirts are typically long-sleeved, 100% cotton and designs are printed in 2-3 colors. Surf Expo's logo and the show dates (January 11-14, 2007) must be included on the shirt. Shirt color, placement of artwork and images are open to the designer.
