In February 2007, the elegance and glamour of Couture Fashion Week will once again be the talk of the town in New York City. Scheduled to be held February 9, 10 and 11 at New York's famous Waldorf-Astoria, a number of the elegant fashion shows will be reprised, along with some new shows, in Palm Beach, Florida.
Over the past several years, Couture Fashion Week has solidified its position as a powerful fashion event and luxury lifestyle marketing platform by not only presenting stunning high fashion shows in New York City of wearable couture by an array of talented international designers, but also by attracting prestigious international press and a select audience of affluent consumers and fashionistas.
"There are a number of exciting new developments for February's Couture Fashion Week," according to Andres Aquino, producer of the event.
"Among the designers scheduled to show are Kuwaiti couture designer Haya Al Houti who will present her fabulous creations for the first time in New York; top Croatian designer Gordana Radic who, after a great USA debut last September, will return with an exciting new collection of wearable couture; Lebanese designer Jamil Khansa - winner of 2005's "International Fashion Designer of the Year" award - will also return to New York with a spectacular line; and New York-based Guy Feler who will show a beautiful collection of accessories. And more firsts await those attending."
