Terengganu Showcase 2006 held recently at Plaza Angsana Complex was jointly organised by the Terenggnu Government and Yayasan Pembangunan Usahawan Terengganu.
The show included 36 booths showcasing textiles, handicraft, beauty products etc. and also included cultural performances and fashion shows.
This show will promote tourism in the country as well as encourage small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
As requests are received from Singaporeans to host event, Terengganu Showcase 2007 would be held at Singapore's Changi.
With recent sailing competition on the ESPN channel, Terengganu has become internationally famous and about 1,500 jobs have been created.
