The colour palette embraces all shades of gold and silver, with bronze, sienna, blood red, burnt orange, aubergine, fuchsia and plum.
She played with all kind of fabrics cottons, velvets, jacquard, damask, silks and her designs displayed a mix of texture between matte against shine and rough against smooth.
Her work line displays revival of old Kutchi stitches and illustrious mirror work embellishment from Gujarat, along with old zari, zardosi and aari work.
Mona Lamba and Pali Sachdev's gorgeous creation will surely catch your attention.
They have used hues of reds and pinks accompanied by loads of gold. Combinations of red and green, and gold on gold with a dash of red can also be seen.
As lehnga is the mainstay of the bridal line, they concentrated on this particular outfit. There are traditional full-bodied lehngas along with new style cuts of lehnga which are slim, fitted till the hips and then gradually flared.
Concentration has been given on variety of blouses, small halters to kurtis besides some shararas and ghararas.
A very fine variety of net, pure silk net are used in abundance. Benarasi, georgette, tussar and chiffon fabrics are also used extensively.
A blend of zardosi, gota, and applique embellishments are used by the duo.
