Industry and Commerce Minister Dr Hassan Fakhro inaugurated the 18th Autumn Fair, hosted by Bahrain International Exhibition Center (BIEC) on January 4, 2007.
About 529 exhibitors from 25 nations are participating in this fair, which ends on January 13, 2007. Both halls of BIEC, which offer an area of 14,000 square meters, are completely packed.
Arabian Exhibition Management (AEM) has organized the event in association with Industry and Commerce Ministry.
Jewellery, beauty products, fragrances, apparel, sports and leisure goods, artwork, antiques, furniture and carpets are some of the products on sale. Over 1,80,000 visitors are expected at the fair.
National pavilions from Iran, India, China, Malaysia, Kuwait, Syria, Turkey, UAE and Vietnam have been set up at the fair.
