Actress Sneha opened the All India Craft Fair at Sri Sankara Hall, situated on Alwarpet's TTK Road, on January 6, 2007 in Chennai. More than 100 types of handicrafts and 25 kinds of handlooms are being exhibited.
Textile products and readymade garments featuring traditional kundan, chikan and banjara works are on sale.
Also displayed are Kashmiri shawls, terracotta items, teakwood products, lacquer bangles and gemstone paintings along with gold, silver and stone jewellery.
Exhibition, which closes on Pongal day, also features foldable tables, chairs, corner stands, partitions and other such furniture.
