At the mini trade fair held in Taraba's capital Jalingo, sales have gone up for traders as well as small businessmen. Traders from states like Kano, Enugu, Katsina and Lagos made good money during last two months of the fair.

Reason for lofty sales is that fair has been arranged parallel to Sallah, Christmas and New Year and buyers are able to purchase products at low prices. Jewellery, footwear, textiles and mobile phones are on sale.

Over 50 traders and small businessmen are visiting the fair, which has been organized by ACYDAK Trade Fair Consult Nigeria Ltd, a private company.

Healthy sales has been achieved by 80 percent of the participants. Fair ends on January 15, 2007.
