PEBATEK 2007 showcases local handicrafts & clothing

Silk clothing, batik, basketry and rattan craft are some local products displayed at Batik, Tenunan and Kraftangan Brunei Festival (PEBATEK 2007), running at The Mall in Gadong.
About 38 vendors are taking part in this event. There are at least 30 booths offering apparel and household decoration items at the expo, organized by Syarikat AMF Mas Event Management Services.
Domestic businessmen get a chance to promote their handicrafts through PEBATEK.
One of the participants is Syarikat Rosmawey, a local firm founded in 1990 and famous for 'Kain Jong Sarat', a type of woven cloth featuring traditional geometric designs made using golden threads.
