With the purpose of popularizing small Bangladeshi businessmen in foreign countries, Expo Bangladesh 2006-07 commences in London from tomorrow. Four-day exhibition is being organized by Bangladeshi-British Trade Co-operation.
To create overseas markets for Bangladeshi products, fair will be held in China, Japan, Malaysia, Canada, India and five other nations according to Project Director Mirza Zillur Rahman.
UK is the third biggest importer of such products and garments globally, after US and Germany. Of Bangladesh's overall exports, nearly 11 percent goes to the UK.
