Designers await promising Glasgow Fashion Week!

Glasgow Fashion Week is all set to begin and leading fashion designers are lining up rapidly.

The event will start on March 28 at George Square and is scheduled to run till March 31, 2007.

Talented Scottish designers including Jennifer Lang and Aimee McWilliams will present their collections on Friday and Saturday evenings, respectively.

Designer duo Hilary Laing and Amy Currie are also expected to showcase their Mainey Laing brand couture here.

Underwear Company Ultimo and Dutch designer Daryl Van Wouw are some of the shows where the emotions will run high.

International brands like Jaeger, Benetton and Topshop are some of the most anticipated shows.

The week will also include workshops and seminars to be held in the Merchant City and buildings around George Square.
