Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) met with delegation from the Department of Commerce of China's Yunnan led by Deputy Director General Li Jiming and discussed trade relations between the two countries.
Chinese Commerce Counsellor in Bangladesh Lin Wei Qiang was also present on the occasion.
Participation at the 'Kunming Fair' was also one of the topics here.
While DCCI requested a duty-free access for all products, China expressed interest to import leather and jute goods.
For the first time 'Kunming Fair' will be designed with South Asia as the organizing partner and Bangladesh was invited to take advantage of the situation.
