PID offers opportunity for sourcing synthetic-based hi-tech textiles

The 6th edition of Preview In DAEGU (Host: The ministry of Industry, Commerce & Energy, Deagu Metropolitan City, Organizer: Daegu Gyeongbuk Textile Industries Association, KOTRA) from March 14(Wed.) to 16, 2007(Fri.) is drawn its wide attention as the biggest event ever in the six year history.
The number of exhibitors is the largest ever, 220 companies with 452 booths, which evidences that PID is recognized as hi-tech fabric specialized business fair.
Especially for overseas buyers, PID is the only fair in the world providing extraordinary opportunity for sourcing synthetic-based hi-tech textiles; consequently they are coming back for PID on an annual basis.
PID Secretariat is preparing the optimal business conditions to deal with high expectations for the both exhibitors and buyers, thus preparations originated from past 5-year-long accumulated textile fair know-how, eventually visualize fruitfulness for the current PID & the future.
Trend Forum: Created by Fashion Center Korea (FCK), trend forum is to preview materials, designs, and colors for the spring/summer 2008 season by displaying exhibitor fabrics so that buyers can easily find what they want.
There has been a seminar for the exhibitors to give out the trend book and the buyer consultation will be based on the book. Trend forum is very important in the matter that the exhibitors are fully aware of the s/s trend 2008, if they prepare for what the buyer wants, the result will be very successful.
