The inauguration ceremony and news conference of China Fabrics Creative Design Contest was held in Beijing East Grand Hyatt Hotel on April 12.
Important guests from organizers, contractors and cooperators, representatives from well-known domestic textile colleges and media participated in this event.
At the Conference, Xu Kunyuan, Vice President of China Textile Industry Association, on behalf of Textile Industry Association, conveyed support to this competition.
China Fabrics Creative Design Contest is the most authoritative and professional competition in China, sponsored by Textile Industry Association, Textile Information Center, Textile Product Development Center and Fashion Color Association, aiming at promoting innovative textile designs, exploring new talents, realizing innovation value.
2007 Design event will comprise two sub-branches, namely, fabrics design competition and pattern design competition.
For Fabrics Design Competition, the organizers will announce Chinese fashion fabrics entry award, Fashion fabrics outstanding design award, Single award, Special award by sponsors, and Fabrics creative design award.
Pattern design competition will include the best clothing fabric pattern design award, the best family textile pattern design award, the best ready-made clothing pattern design award, single award, and a special award by sponsors.
Each award aims to bring out creative originality from amongst the participants, which is the motive behind organizing China's Fabrics Innovative Design Competition.
Outstanding works from the two contests will be realized by renowned designers, and displayed suitably, thus achieving integrity of the entire design process.
