Tex Vision 2007, the exhibition on textile trade and industry of West Bengal will take place from April 24 to 26 at Netaji Indoor Stadium in Kolkata.
Around 62 exhibitors from all sectors of textile industry from manufacturing to trading, are likely to participate in the event with a wide variety of items, ranging from textile machinery to embroidery and fabrics.
According to Murari Lal Khaitan, President of Chamber of Textile Trade & Industry (COTTI), this expo will provide much needed boost to the garment industry in domestic as well as international arena.
COTTI plans to establish an integrated textile park near Kolkata in next two years with an estimated investment of Rs600 crore. The proposed park would provide assistance for manufacturing and export of textiles and apparel.
The 100-acre park would accommodate about 250 textile manufacturers which may global technology.
