International Furniture Fair concludes with gratifying results

The 19th edition of China International Furniture Fair (Guangzhou) (CIFF) was concluded with gratifying results on March 30th at the Chinese Export Commodities Fair (CECF) Pazhou Complex, Guangzhou.
The 1st phase of the events featured home furniture, staged from March 18th to 21st, together with Homedecor & Housewares China 2007 (March). While the 2nd phase focused on office/commercial furniture, along with Hometextile China 2007 (March) and interzum guangzhou 2007 from March 27th to 30th.
With the space of 240,000 SQM, the eight-day shows hosted over 1,700 exhibitors, among which 205 were overseas participants from 27 countries and regions. A total of 93,933 visitors attended the shows, including 25,224 overseas buyers hailing from 159 countries and regions, indicated a higher proportion of international participation that reached over 26%. Over 30 international trade delegations visited the shows coming from Belgium, Spain, Ireland, Holland, Malaysia and so on.
“The exhibition has become the center of furniture trading in Asia, sparkling glamorously as one of the best-known exhibitions in Asia.” Said Wang Junwen, Director of China Foreign Trade Center, evaluated the great development of the CIFF and its current shows.
CIFF: The Grand Event of Mega Brands: With the exhibition area of 105,000 SQM covering 10 exhibition halls, CIFF Home Furniture show attracted 464 well-recognized enterprises, up by 7%, from China Mainland, HK, Taiwan,Malaysia, Singapore, America, Korea, France, Italy, etc.
