Mandira Bedi is surrounded by yet another controversy! The TV star and anchor for World Cup telecast has managed to anger the members of Kolkata-based NGO Indira Gandhi Memorial Trust.
Sources say that the NGO filed a complaint against Bedi at the Bhowanipore police station for wearing a saree featuring Indian flag's tri-colors, below waist.
NGO insiders say that the members were hurt that one of the most looked up-to icons on TV would insult the Indian flag is such a way.
The tri-color on her saree appeared in a disrespectful position and offended the integrity of the national symbol.
