Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) organized a grand fashion show aboard the royal train Deccan Odyssey on May 6.
Christened, 'Fashion Yatra on Deccan Odyssey', the event attracted many Bollywood celebs, several of whom even walked the ramp to flaunt Anita Dongre's summer collection.
This event is part of an MTDC's attempts to make the luxury train popular. Many such shows are being planned.
Actors Nethra Raghunathan and Geeta Basra were among those who strutted down the runway and the audience comprised of Kiran Juneja, Ranjit, Sanjay Suri, Director Ramesh Sippy, MP Priya Dutt and social activist Gerson D'cunha.
MTDC, MD, Bhushan Gagrani said here, “We believe Deccan Odyssey has a potential in the domestic markets as well."
