The embassies of Israel, Trinidad and Tobago, Belgium, and New Zealand and major designers from New York and the domestic metropolitan area of Washington, DC have announced their participation at the 'Extravagance' Couture Show, which will be held Saturday, Sept. 17, at 7 pm at the French Embassy, 4101 Reservoir Road, NW, Washington DC 20007.

DC Fashion Week is an electrifying event where the fashion society of a particular nation is exhibited besides other nations, in a festive and vibrant way, said Ean Williams, DC Fashion Week, Executive Director.

An association of individual fashion designers, producers and models, DC Fashion Week was set-up to raise economic development in the area of fashion design, clothing merchandising and modeling, and to boost the visibility of the nation's capital as a international fashion hub.
