The 4th China-ASEAN Fair, sponsored by the country and ASEAN, will be held in Guangxi Province's Nanning city from Oct 20-23 this year.
The fair, which is being held once a year since 2004, is the best platform to promote China-ASEAN cooperation in textile, clothing, transportation, investment, travel and other fields, depending on the strong support of governments of 11 countries.
The fair will house 3000 booths, which will exhibit textile machinery, construction material, agricultural material, etc. So far, nearly two-third of the exhibition booths has been rented. Burma has decided to rent 40 exhibition booths while Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand have decided to rent booths as a team. It is estimated that ASEAN will rent over 1000 exhibition booths.
The Service and Trade Agreement between China and ASEAN, which came into operation from July 1, 2007, will become the bright spot of this fair.
