The cotton garments Design Competition, christened 'cotton-beyond your imagination TM' was jointly organized by American Cotton Company, American Cotton Association International and Beijing Garment Academy in Beijing on July 24.
In this event designers got the chance to showcase their creations in front of spectators and get awarded for their hard work.
Some designers presented fabulous and innovative concepts in this competition. Extraordinary creations by the use of most simple cotton fabrics can be seen here.
Three themes expressing classic, romantic, and pioneer fashion were presented here. Versatility with simple cotton was the main motive of the participating designers.
From August to November 2007, these garments will be displayed in Shanghai, Qingdao, Dalian, Beijing, respectively, by Chinese young models on different stages. This would keep the consumers well informed about upcoming as well as extraordinary imagination of Chinese designers.
