Vietnam has been elected as Chairman of the ASEAN Federation of Textile Industries (AFTEX) for the first time and on the occasion of its birth anniversary, which is on October 14, the country will head the federal of 10 countries.
On this day a fashion show titled 'ASEAN Designer Show' will be organized at Vivo City, under Singapore Fashion Week. Here professional fashion designers from ASEAN countries will participate.
Famous designers from China, Japan and Korea will also take part in this event. Country's fashion designers Mr Anh Vu will also make an appearance here.
Experts believe that Anh Vu's activities and Vietnam's role as Chairman of the AFTEX, would be very important for the development of country's fashion industry.
