Cameroon hosted the Iran Industrial and Trade Fair on Sunday September 30, 2007. The exhibition saw participation by a multitude of Iranian companies that assured huge success.
Displaying latest industrial goods, the exposition also featured regular items like detergents, furniture, carpets, and handicrafts.
Speaking at the event, Mr Mohammad Reza Ramezani, Secretary-General of Iran's Chamber of Cooperatives, underscored the importance of counting on Africa as a major trading partner, while being an apt alternative source for commercializing their products.
He also laid enormous stress on encouraging Iran's non-oil exports as well as on accelerating business transactions with developing countries of Africa.
