After meeting with a huge success last year, the Bisbee Annual Fiber Arts Festival is ready for yet another bang. Commemorating its 15th year this time, the event will be held from October 6 at Vista Park in the Warren district, Arizona, USA.
Special highlights this year, are fiber animals that include Alpaca, Navajo Churro sheep and Angora goat. Visitors will get a live demonstration of how fleeces from these animals get processed into apparels, shawls and other associated goods. Besides, a whole spectrum of weavers, spinners, dyers, knitters and other craftsmen will be displaying their artworks.
This apart, the Cotton Clouds Company specializing in cotton fiber, spinning instruction and spinning wheels will also be present in the event, selling vibrant fiber and yarns.
Moreover, California's Chasing Rainbows is another hopeful participant, that deals with dyeing natural fibers with a riot of colours and thereby seeks to grab this wonderful trade opportunity. Attendees can also look forward to purchasing handmade fiber art tools and inkle looms made accessible by Rae's Woodworking & Crafts.
Fashion show at the Bisbee Annual Fiber Arts Festival will be a completely new addition with models walking around the place showcasing Deb Taylor's latest collection.
