For many years, Taiwan has been manufacturing knitted products supplied by original knitting factories. As a result, most knitting fabric makers lack opportunities and experiences of self-design.
However, as time passes, the pressure from market competition has become heavier. Taiwan's knitting industry must have innovative designs to be successful.
Therefore, in order to implement development of culture and creation by the government, Taiwan Knitting Industry Association would like to encourage knitting fabrics to be creative and unique.
By holding this competition, we can develop and cultivate talents by processing how to apply knowledge into actual works of fashion design.
The atmosphere of design can be raised and the standard of fashion design can be promoted by the competition. Furthermore, the competition will help dealers of knitting in Taiwan to extend business opportunities globally.
