One section of the exhibition is focused on the challenge between the designers – who need innovation – and who “manufactures” offering processes and technologies to the market.
Present and future, tradition and innovation meet in Architex to work together to the metamorphosis of products and processes.
The programme of Architex will be completed by important lectures at international level organized in cooperation with TexClubTec: they will focus both on structural applications and on uses of functional materials.
Application forms will have to be approved by a scientific committee to warrant a quality and specialized Exhibition. The attending companies will be also enabled to do special presentations of their products, researches and projects in order to create real business meeting opportunities.
Moreover, Architex will invite not only architects but also textile and building companies, engineering offices and other professionals.
Mutation, the eight areas: • colour: textile materials that change their colours, interesting both from the aesthetical point of view (interior architecture) and from the functional point of view (building and internal decoration). Biomimetism-luminescence-thermochromism • hot_cold: textile materials that protect from atmospheric and environmental conditions creating heat or cold. Phase Change Materials – materials respecting EU regulations on energy saving • wet_dry: textile materials that interact with moisture. Insulating films and transpiration materials • light_darkness: textile dimming and reflecting materials or light-conveying materials.
Reflecting materials and luminescent fabrics: • noise_silence: isolating textile materials. Deadening panels and fabrics • rigidity_flexibility: lightweight and flexible fibres and textiles.
Components for architectural structures: • on_off: clever and multifunctional textiles. Conductive fibres and textiles • man_earth: protection against fire, electromagnetic fields, pollution, UV rays.
Buildings made of protecting textiles, fibres and materials. Fabrics and materials producing negative ions to be used in internal decoration for our well-being.
