During the following days, 28th and 29th of October, technical papers including topics like yarn spinning, weaving, knitting, textile chemistry and finishing, apparel and technical textiles were presented in four parallel sessions.
The annual meeting of AUTEX (Association of Universities for Textiles) was also held on 26th of October, hosted by Ege University Textile Engineering Department, which is a member of AUTEX. By this way the premier authorities of various textile universities attended the symposium.
During the symposium 56 proceedings were presented and nearly 120 experts from 20 countries were attended.
