Trade show organizers of France are eyeing Indian companies bribing them to participate and invest in the international fairs held in France.
The purpose is being achieved by Promosalons, who has been organizing road shows Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi and Mumbai.
Promosalons is essentially a French organization that in cooperation with the French Embassy promotes trade events.
The tour initiated by French organizers aimed to depict France as the most perfect place for hosting buyers and exhibitors from India.
In a press conference held on December 5, Jerome Bonnafont, Ambassador of France to India emphasizing on the issue said,"This meet gives Indian business houses the opportunity to interact and explore avenues to increase their global footprint”.
Reports prove that over 400 tradeshows are hosted by Paris alone and the city encompasses more than nine million visitors and around 10,000 exhibitors. In 2006, India was one of the 20 countries to have attended events and exhibitions in France.
Participating in such exhibitions would give India a platform to develop its trade show business which is still in an emerging stage. Besides, France will provide quality venues for Indian exhibitors enabling them to attract buyers.
