Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS) recently reported that Vietnam Fashion Fair 2007 will be opened in the capital city Hanoi, from December 20.
It is expected that the six day event, which will run till December 26 will attract participations from some hundred fashion developers of Vietnam.
During the fair, there will be ten fashion show series which will be displaying the products of textile, apparel and shoes among others.
Major products expected to draw attention of the visitors include kids wear, sports wear, overcoat, veston suit, office wear, wedding fashion and most importantly Vietnamese traditional Long – dress (Ao dai).
According to an official of the Organizing board, these kind of annual fashion fair organized by VITAS, VINATEX and Vietnam Association of Leather and Shoe (LEFASO), sponsored by Ministry of Industry and Trade and Ministry of Culture and Information, acts as a platform for local fashion developers to showcase their latest products to both local consumers as well as to foreign partners.
