Grand opening for Kumba Mi Yabba

Kumba Mi Yabba, an annually held Christmas fair commenced today at Devon House and will continue till the 23rd of this month.

This three day event running its seventh edition has been organized by the Jamaica Business Development Center (JBDC) with the aim to promote opportunities for micro, small and medium size enterprises.

More than 130 exhibitors have been participating in the show, luring around 10,000 visitors to the Christmas village.

Categorized into five distinct villages, including fashion, gift and craft, wellness and home accessories, the fair features presentations by wellness experts on issues like stress management, living a healthier life and health.

Highlighting the fair will be an exclusive fashion show to be held tomorrow. Titled 'Technicolour Explosion', the exhibit will display a collection of sports, casual, cocktail, formal and swim wear by emerging fashion designers selected to design a five-piece clothing line for spring and summer of 2008.
