The only fair in Italy for outsourcing of textile and garments announces another novelty for its next edition which will take place from February 13 to 15, 2008 at the Palazzo delle Stelline Exhibition Center in Milan, Italy.

As in the past, China, India and Turkey will be the countries most represented, either for garments/knitwear as well as for fabrics. This pattern corresponds to the fabrics/garments supplies to the European Union where these countries headed the list.
Based on a recent market research conducted by CEDITH ( www.cedith.com ), China is today the largest supplier to the EU for 14 of the 18 most important products in the garment sector. Turkey is the largest supplier for 3 major products (jeans in denim, cotton pants and T shirts), while for shirting, Bangladesh is on top of the list.
The next edition of INTERTEX MILANO and READY TO SHOW will, for the first time, offer well coordinated proposals from Vietnam and Syria, totaling the number of participating countries to 22.
In order to enrich and complement the exhibition : conferences will be organized on themes regarding the development of outsourcing and Euro-Mediterranean collaboration; mini fashion shows which will allow exhibiting companies to show their collections tothe media and Italian professionals ( final program will be communicated in January ).
As regards the more traditional aspect of the exhibition, we would like to highlight that INTERTEX MILANO & READY TO SHOW, by now, induce also very high interest from international buyers ( specially from Greece, Spain, Eastern Europe ), evidenced by visitors pre-registrations via the fairs' websites.
