Directors of ATIRA, SITRA, NITRA and BTRA are organizing the 49th Joint Technological Conference on Friday, February 1, 2008 at the Bombay Textile Research Association, Mumbai.
Shri J N Singh, Textile Commissioner from the Ministry of Textile will be delivering an opening speech and presenting mementos while Mr P K Gothi, Chairman, Governing Council, BTRA will preside over the conference. Besides, Dr A K Sharma, Director ATIRA will give a vote of thanks.
BTRA aims to meet the technological needs of the Indian textile industry as well as to achieve S&T objectives set at the national level. Its members include not only textile units (from mill sector as well as decentralized sector) but also manufacturers from man-made fibre, machinery, dyes and chemical auxiliaries industries. The BTRA zone largely comprised composite mills and from the beginning, the R & D and services were fine-tuned to satisfy their comprehensive requirements.
