Over 2,900 retail loss prevention executives will be heading to Orlando this year for the National Retail Federation's annual Loss Prevention Conference and EXPO. The event will be held June 23-25 at the Orange County Convention Center.

Over the course of the three-day event, guests will hear from retail executives at companies like Circuit City, Gap, Sears Holdings, Best Buy, Macy's, Wal-Mart, Walgreen's, Lowe's, Mervyns and Saks Fifth Avenue.

In addition to educational sessions and forums lead by these companies, attendees will also hear from retail crime experts at the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Montgomery County Police Department.

Some of the sessions taking place include:

LERPnet: Today and in the Future
Monday, June 23, 9:45 – 10:45 a.m.

Attendees will learn first-hand how the Law Enforcement Retail Partnership network operates through interactive demonstrations and will hear actual case studies from retailers based on their use of LERPnet.

Monday, June 23, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

This session will review how to "Link" traditional exception-based reports, loss prevention analytics and video to literally pinpoint areas of stores that are most at risk.

Crisis in the Shopping Center – “Active Shooter”
Tuesday, June 24, 9:45 – 11:15 a.m.

Attendees at this gripping session will learn the essential elements of crisis management in order to protect customers and employees.
