Montréal Fashion Week seeks to bring together, in a single location, fashion presentations by designers and manufacturers, as well as showcase, for the benefit of various players in the fashion industry, the creativity and talent of fashion designers and manufacturers right here at home. Note that Montréal Fashion Week is presented twice a year (March and October).

Sensation Mode, the producer of Montréal Fashion Week, has implemented a strategy for the staging of this event. Indeed, its vision has generated considerable enthusiasm among designers eager to participate in this 9th edition. It should be noted that activities slated for this edition will be presented in a tent designed to respond to the specific needs of designers. Erected at the corner of Viger and Beaver Hall at the very heart of the Quartier international, this facility will be able to accommodate more than 300 guests.

Liaison Mode Montréal, the event's promoter, is a non-profit organization bringing together a number of sectorial associations, i.e. the Apparel Manufacturers Institute of Quebec, the Fur Council of Canada, the Canadian Apparel Federation, the Quebec Clothing Contractors' Association and Promomode International. Liaison Mode Montréal seeks to promote the Québec fashion industry and position Montréal as the Canadian and North American fashion centre.
