A four day Turkmenistan cultural and art festival was organized from April 2, in Ashgabat to preserve and popularize the cultural heritage of the Turkmen people.
To celebrate the unity and friendship among all the nations, an Iranian Turkmen presented a hand-woven rug comprising the flags of 95 countries in this festival.

Nearly, two million Turkmen live cordially in Iran with people of other nationalities, the Iranian Turkmen have progressed a lot in field of science and technology.
However, they are deeply rooted to their customs and traditions. Carpet and rug weaving is one such factor which binds the whole community together.
