Enterprises will be selected from textile and garment industry by Swiss Import Promotion Program (SIPPO), to participate in its common pavilion in two famous international fairs namely Heimtextil fair held in Frankfurt from January14 to 17 2009 and Global Fashion in Düsseldorf in July 2009.
The main objective behind the participation is to provide support and opportunity to small-medium enterprises for emerging and developing their economies.
By such efforts, Vietnamese industries can boost their exports to European countries in general and Switzerland in particular, which can enable importers to access competitive sources of supply.
SIPPO coordinates with Promocen under Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency, for registration of common pavilion at these fairs. Another reason for these enterprises to participate in these expositions is that, they can have experience of export, understand suitable products for EU consumers.
One of the criteria for participating in the fairs is that these Vietnamese SMEs should not have any representative in Europe for the market of German and Swiss.
Additionally, a care should be taken that enterprises participating in this event should not be economically sound, and have never participated in any such event similar to SIPPO before.
