While inaugurating a two day exhibition that is coming to a successful end today, Rauf Siddiqui, Sindh Minister for Commerce and Industries said that, the Government of Province is making all possible efforts to bring textile sector of the region back on track.

The Minister further stated that, although there is lot of potential in this sector, the Central Government is not doing much to increase the competitiveness and further boost the Textile industry.

However, if the public and private sector work together, a lot improvment can be made within short span of time. If the sector functions smoothly, large number of people can get employment. This in turn, will automatically improve the economic situation of not only Sindh but of the nation as well.

Mr Rauf Siddiqui was accompanied by other officials who visited that stalls and handed certificates to the participants, who displayed various items related to textiles. The expo is jointly organized by Sindh College of Textile in association with Management Textile Exhibition.
